Who is your hero?
We are about to enter the Medieval World of monsters, dragons and knights. This is a time when people felt vulnerable and needed heroes to protect them. Kings ruled through might and force and needed men who could protect them. These men were often said to have inhuman powers and tales of them spread far and wide.
We still love heroes today.
Who are today's heroes and what qualities do they possess (wisdom, athletic ability, courage)? Write some examples of today's heroes in the comments section with the trait that makes them a hero beside their name.

My hero is my Great Grandma. She was my inspiration. She always made me happy. While she lived with us, she gave me the wisdom of her 100 years.
ReplyDeleteMrs. Michelle, Are we supposed to comment on who our hero is? Or, are we supposed to be thinking on who our hero is and then write a paper on it???
ReplyDeleteHEY! It says that I posted that last comment at 5:28 pm! That's wayyyyy off. I'ts 7:29 pm right now. Maybe it's just the blog site....
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, you're supposed to comment on your hero and what makes them a hero here, but since not many have, we'll discuss it in class tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteWow, your grandma was 100? Cool...
ReplyDeleteI loved discussing it in class, that was great. Two of the heroes in my life are my parents. Whenever I need them, they're always there. My mom will always help me or get me through things when I need her, and my dad is always there to protect me and have fun. I love them both tremendously...and by their actions, I know they feel the same.
ReplyDeleteMy hero is my great grandpa. I called him Papaw. I only knew him until I was 4. But I remember him well! He loved the Lord, he loved his farm, and he loved his children. (He also knew how cook AWESOME pork.) I would always eat those Circus Peanut candies with him!
